The consultancy will conduct a comprehensive review of the client's supplier expenditure data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for cost savings or added value. This includes analysing historical spending across various spend types. categories, suppliers, and business units. Insights gained from spend analysis and any client forecasts will inform strategic decision-making and a proposed Delivery Plan. Understanding how your business spends money with its suppliers will allow you to create more value from this investment. The☉project delivery company can analyse your spend data & convert this into a spend opportunity evaluation which will identify where cost consolidation, leverage and other efficiencies can be improved. Using benchmarking, market insights & our expertise to identify opportunities to take cost out of your supplier spend and add value quickly. The☉project delivery company can evaluate all or a specific subset of spend (such as a category area). The Handover Pack will provide you with the opportunities for your business to deliver, or we can deliver & embed into your business for you.

This service offers clients access to procurement expertise and resources as needed, providing flexibility and scalability in managing procurement activities. The consultancy can assist with specific projects, interim staffing, supplementing existing procurement teams during peak periods or for specialised tasks, optimising resource utilisation and the ad hoc delivery of all of the procurment consulting services set out [Spend Analysis & Delivery of, Tailspend Management & Delivery of, Strategic Sourcing & Delivery of, Category Management & Delivery of, Tender Management & Delivery of, Contract Management & Delivery of, Supplier Relationship Manageemnt & Delivery of].

Strategic Sourcing Analysis

The consultancy will work closely with the client to develop sourcing strategies aligned with their business objectives. This includes identifying sourcing opportunities, conducting market research, supplier evaluations, negotiation, and contract management opportunities to achieve cost savings, mitigate risks, and improve overall supplier performance.

Strategic Sourcing Delivery

Using the Strategic Sourcing Strategy(s) from the Strategic Sourcing service the consultancy will conduct the consolidation opportunities, negotiations, tenders required to deliver the opportunities for business alignment, cost savings, mitigation of risks, and improved supplier performance. [The client may also chose to use the Sourcing Strategy document(s) to do this themselves.]

Tailspend Analysis

Tailspend management involves identifying and addressing small, low-value transactions that often go unnoticed but collectively can have a significant impact on overall spend. The consultancy will develop strategies to consolidate, optimise, or eliminate tail spend, potentially leveraging technology solutions to automate and streamline the process.

Tailspend Management

Using the Tail Spend Reduction Strategy(s) from the Tail Spend Management service the consultancy will conduct the consolidation opportunities, negotiations or tenders required to deliver the opportunities for cost savings and a more consolidated client Tail Spend. [The client may also chose to use the Tail Spend Reduction Strategy(s) to do this themselves.]

Tender Management

The consultancy will provide the End-to-End Tendering Documentation to the client, from defining requirements and drafting tender documents to evaluating docuentation, allowing the client to confidently tender their requirements themselves.

Tender Management Delivery

Using the End-to-End Tendering Documentation from the Tender Management service the consultancy will manage the end-to-end tendering process on behalf of the client, including the evaluation of the proposals, conducting negotiations, and awarding contracts. Promoting transparency, and achieving the best value for money. [The client may also chose to use the End-to-End Tendering Documentation to do this themselves.]

Contract Management Analysis

The consultancy will analyse current contracts between the client and its suppliers. Reviewing commercial terms agreed and performance, identifying opportunities to improve the clients commercial position with its suppliers, focusing on optimising value, minimising disruptions, and mitigating operational and financial risks for the client. Understanding how your business contracts with its suppliers will allow you to create more value from these relationships. The☉project delivery company can analyse some or all of your contracts & provide a contract evaluation covering a number of focus areas: Cost out opportunities, improved commercial terms, compliance to business policies, renewal cycles and any key risks. You will get to see how you currently contract and how your contracts can be improved. Contract Management Delivery

Using the Log and Summary document from the Contract Management Review service the consultancy will conduct the negotations with the clients suppliers for the reccommended opportunities and oversee the lifecycle of contracts between the client and its suppliers. This includes drafting, negotiating, and finalising the commercial elements of the contracts to ensure clarity, compliance, and risk mitigation and work with the clients Legal support to incorporate the opportunites agreed with the suppliers into the client/ supplier contracts. Throughout the contract term, the consultancy will monitor performance, track key milestones, manage amendments, and facilitate contract renewals or terminations as necessary. Effective contract management aims to optimise value, minimise disruptions, and mitigate legal and financial risks for the client. [The client may also chose to use the Log and Summary document to do this themselves.]

Supplier Management Analysis

The consultancy will analyse the clients current supplier relationships, reviewing commercial terms agreed and performance, identifying opportunities to improve the clients relationships and commercial position with its suppliers, focusing on optimising value, minimising disruptions, and mitigating operational and financial risks for the client.

Supplier Management Delivery

Using the Supplier Relationship Management Plan, Communication and Collaboration Framework document from the Supplier Relationship Management Review service the consultancy will throughout the contract term monitor performance, track key milestones, manage amendments, and facilitate contract renewals or terminations as necessary. Effective contract management aims to optimise value, minimise disruptions, and mitigate legal and financial risks for the client. [The client may also chose to use the Supplier Relationship and Collaboration Framework document to do this themselves.]

Procurement Documentation & Tools

This service offers clients standardised or tailored documentation for business colleagues or procurement team members to use in the day to day activities within the team and with the clients suppliers. Documentation and templates come with How To and Description Notes to ensure the clients resources and use effectively to secure results and a documented auditable trail of activities.

Procurement Training

This service offers clients defined or tailored training modules to deliver commercial training to business colleagues or procurement team members that interface with suppliers. Sharing and promoting expertise and experience as needed, providing quick win or more advanced methodologies that will deliver results when dealing with suppliers, internal stakeholders or managing procurement activities. The consultancy can assist with specific training and embedding of knowledge, tools & techniques to supplement existing business or procurement team commercial knowledge for generic or or specific tasks, optimising on current knowledge base.

PDC Buy Desk

This service offers clients ongoing access to procurement expertise and resources as agreed to manage specific procurement activities. This might be the go-to for your company when buying a specific good or service, or an overflow to supplement an existing procurement teams for specific or specialised tasks.

Our Approach

As the company name suggests, we work on a project basis.  We can provide individual modular services, tailored to meet your your specific requirements on an adhoc or ongoing basis as one offs, programmes of work and managed solutions to deliver your ongoing objectives.

Always using clear SMART objectives, defining what success looks like.  Depending on what you require we generally work against one of three pricing structures.

Option 1 - Ad Hoc - Fixed Price

How it Works

A fixed price per service module is agreed setting out key milestones for delivery. If you pre buy a number of the service modules, for example pre buying 3 tender service modules, or 3 different service modules. This will reduce the unit cost of each of the modular services pre bought.

Option 2 - Defined Days

How it Works

We define key deliverables and a number of days are pre-bought to suport the delivery of the project. You can continue to buy packages of days to bsupport s programme of work. You can use any pre-bought days or hours for ongoing managed services if required.

Option 3 - Subscription

How it Works

We define the key deliverables, service modules required or a tailored managed solution and you pay a monthly subscription for the deliverables, service module(s) or managed solution.
